Sensibilities and Sensitivity
- Dr. R. Craig, Eugene Hearing & Speech Center
- Mike McKerrow, City of Eugene
How sound is regulated and how our ears respond to levels
and types of sound will be discussed by two people who work
with various aspects of those concerns in Eugene. Dr. R.
Craig, Director of Clinical Services at the Eugene Hearing
and Speech Center, is Head of the Center that treats patients
with hearing troubles from "ringing in the ears" to balance
problems. Mike McKerrow is the Land Use Management
Supervisor for Eugene's Planning and Development
Department. He is responsible for administration and
enforcement of zoning and nuisance standards that relate to
noise.
Coordinator for the Program is Laurel Fisher, who will introduce
the speakers.
