Lunch with Mayor Vinis: Past Successes and Future Challenges for Eugene

Eugene Mayor Lucy Vinis will be joining City Club to highlight experiences during her first year in office and share her hopes for the coming year. She will emphasize that the work we are doing in Eugene matters and that we are all in this together.
Mayor Lucy Vinis
Prior to becoming mayor, Ms. Vinis was Development Director of Shelter Care. She has had a varied and diverse career including owning and managing a berry farm in Virginia. Her degrees are also diverse and include a B.A. in Religion from Kenyon College, an M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan, and a M.S. in Entomology from the University of Maryland.

The mission of the City Club of Eugene is to build community vision through open inquiry. The Club explores a wide range of significant local, state, and national issues and helps to formulate new approaches and solutions to problems. Club members have a direct influence on public policy.
