Did you ever pull an all-nighter?   Members of the tech community still do.  They spend 48 hours over a weekend using their expertise, creative solutions for local organizations.   Groups who have benefited from this effort include NAACP, Parenting Now!, Egan Warming Center, Trans*Ponder and White Bird Clinic.

At this program you will hear from Allison Weatherly of the Technology Association of Oregon (TAO), who runs the annual Hack for a Cause event.  You will also meet a representative from the team Quack for a Cause, a winning team of UO students; the Executive Director of Parenting Now!, and Stephen Parac, a dedicated committee member. You will learn about the many opportunities to be involved in this community event.  Come on out because one of your favorite non-profits could benefit from the innovative tech community.
